Copper prices rise following quake


3/3/2010 - Copper prices rose sharply in electronic screen trading Sunday night and hit a seven-week high after a massive weekend earthquake rocked Chile. The boost came from worries about supplies, since Chile is the world's largest copper-producing nation. So far, analysts say, the actual impact on mining operations appears limited.
